"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" (葬送のフリーレン) is a fantasy manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, published since 2020 in Shogakukan's Weekly Shōnen Sunday. It tells the story of the elf Frieren after the end of a ten-year quest, exploring the themes of mortality, the passage of time, and human relationships. It was adapted into an anime on the Crunchyroll platform in 2023 and was a runaway success, winning numerous awards.
