Star Ocean - Till the End of Time - PS2

Star Ocean: Till the End of Time on PS2 is an epic sci-fantasy role-playing game (RPG).

The story begins on the resort planet Hyda IV, where 19-year-old student Fayt Leingod is vacationing with his family and his childhood friend, Sophia Esteed. Their peace is shattered by a sudden attack from an unknown space force. Separated from his parents during the evacuation, Fayt ends up with Sophia on an underdeveloped planet called Vanguard III.

As they journey to find their loved ones and uncover the truth behind the attack, Fayt and Sophia meet various characters who join their cause. They are drawn into a complex galactic conflict involving a mysterious organization called the "Group of Signs" and a threat that could well destroy the universe as they know it.

Gameplay takes place in vast and varied environments, ranging from technologically advanced planets to more primitive worlds. Battles happen in real time within enclosed areas, where players directly control their characters, performing attacks, special skills and spells (called "symbology"). The game offers a dynamic, customizable combat system as well as an in-depth crafting system for creating powerful items and equipment. The story is full of twists and explores complex themes of existence, destiny and the nature of reality.
