The eighth installment in Yuji Horii's saga, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King takes you on a quest to find a cure for King Trode, who was turned into a toad by the vile jester Dhoulmagus after thwarting his plans. Accompanied by a mysterious but brave boy about whom nothing is known, a scarred thief, and many other companions, our heroes must lift the curse and save their kingdom, frozen in stone.
