Processing and Shipping of Orders:
Processing Times: Except in exceptional cases, all orders are processed and shipped within approximately 48 hours to 72 hours.
Shipping Times: Shipping time may vary from 2 to 15 business days, depending on the volume of orders and location of receipt.
Delivery Methods: We offer several shipping methods, including La Poste (Colissimo), Mondial Relay, DPD and FedEx. The delivery method is selectable by the customer during the payment process.
Customs fee :
Members of the European Union:
We would like to inform our customers located in the European Union that, generally, no additional customs fees are applied to our shipments, since they are sent from France. As part of the European Single Market, products purchased and shipped between EU member countries are not subject to additional customs fees or import taxes. However, we encourage our customers to check any customs specificities in their country of residence, particularly for certain types of products.
Countries outside the European Union:
For our customers outside the European Union, please note that customs fees may be applied during the transit of your order and these costs are your responsibility. These fees depend on the value and type of merchandise, as well as the customs regulations of the destination country.
Insurance and Liability Policy:
We strongly recommend that our customers contact us to purchase additional insurance when creating their shipment. This insurance offers enhanced protection in the event of loss or damage to the package.
Customers can contact us to discuss the options available and choose the supplemental insurance best suited to their needs.
Standard Compensation Without Insurance:
- In the absence of additional insurance, our liability in the event of loss or damage is limited to lump sum compensation.
- For shipments via Mondial Relay, this compensation is 25 euros. For shipments via Colissimo in mainland France, compensation is set at 23 euros per kilo of merchandise entrusted.
Return policy :
Return Conditions : To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused and in its original condition. Any return request must be communicated by e-mail to the following address: contact@japanresell.fr .
Right of Withdrawal : In accordance with article L221-18 of the Consumer Code, the customer has a withdrawal period of 14 days from receipt of his order. If the customer wishes to exercise this right, the return costs will be their responsibility, unless the return is due to an error on our part.
Return Address : Returns must be made via Colissimo to the following address: 1445 Route de Mende, 34090 Montpellier. Returned products must be in their original condition and complete, including packaging and all accessories.
Receipt of Products : Upon receipt of a package sent with a “With Signature” delivery method, the customer is required to check the condition of the product and its packaging in the presence of the delivery person. Any damage noted during delivery must be immediately reported to the delivery person. This step is essential to be able to lodge a complaint or request an exchange of the product if necessary.
Return for Non-Receipt by the Customer : In the event that a package sent via Mondial Relay is not received by the customer within the allotted period of 8 days at the relay point, and a return to the sender is initiated , the costs of returning the package will be the sole responsibility of the buyer.
Transport Damage and Repackaging Costs : Given the fact that the package passes through Mondial Relay's distribution centers twice in the event of a return, it is likely to suffer significant damage. This damage may render shipping boxes unusable. Consequently, in the event of a refund of the order following such a return, we reserve the right to deduct from the amount refunded the cost of the damaged shipping box. A fixed amount of €0.50 will be retained to cover packaging costs.
Refund Policy:
If there is a problem with an item :
Customer Retained Item : If a customer chooses to keep an item with a problem (such as a defect or non-conformance), we offer the following options as a goodwill gesture:
- A partial refund in the form of a voucher to be used on our site.
- A discount on the next order, the percentage of this reduction will be determined depending on the nature and severity of the problem.
Procedure : The customer must notify us of the problem by email to contact@japanresell.fr , including evidence such as photos if possible. We will assess the situation and inform the customer of the solution chosen.
Returns for Withdrawal :
Standard Refund : If a customer returns an item by exercising their right of withdrawal and the return is not due to an error on our part, the refund will be made to the original means of payment. This refund will include the cost of the item, but the return costs will remain the responsibility of the customer.
Withdrawal Period : The customer has 14 days to exercise their right of withdrawal from receipt of the item.
Return Address and Conditions : The customer must return the item to the address indicated in our return conditions, and it must be returned in its original and complete condition.
Description and Characteristics of the Products:
Authenticity and Condition:
All our products are official and in the original version, presenting texts in Japanese. They are generally new, with the exception of used products whose condition is specified in the description.
Description of the Items:
We strongly recommend that customers read the item description carefully before purchasing. This step is essential to understand the specific characteristics of each product.
Special Characteristics of Japanese Magazines:
Japanese magazines are often made from recycled paper and may be sealed and sent with string by publishers. These practices may result in factory defects on some examples.
Sending Manuscript Plates:
Manuscript plates ideally require individual sending. In the event of a multiple order including several items, the original packaging format of the boards may cause alterations during transport. If a grouped shipment is requested without particular specification, we cannot be held responsible for any damage during delivery. Also note that these boards may have original defects, particularly on the corners.
Second-hand and second-life products:
For second-hand or second-life products, customers have the option to ask us for additional photos in order to assess the condition of the product before purchase.
Pre-Order Policy:
Refunds for Standard Pre-Orders :
In the event of a request for a refund of a pre-order, we reserve the right to withhold 10% of the total amount of the order, including the price of the item and shipping costs.
Special Pre-orders for Events or Exhibitions in Japan :
For pre-orders of products linked to exhibitions or events taking place in Japan over a specific period, we reserve the right to withhold 20% of the total order amount. This includes the item price and shipping costs.
Due Payment for Pre-Orders :
Payment for pre-ordered products is due immediately at the time of ordering. This applies to all products available for pre-order.
